MS Exchange Server 2013 Standard is the optimal solution for efficient e-mail communication. Exchange Server delivers more control and security, regardless of whether you are using your server for in-house operation, as an online service in the MS Cloud or as a hybrid solution.
The Standard Edition is different from the Enterprise Edition due to the number of mailbox databases. The Standard Edition provides you with access to up to five databases, making it optimal for SME organizations.
