„I have been focussing my interest on the software second-hand market from its early beginnings. Not only because of the much more favourable prices - we could benefit from savings of about 50 % when buying used software - but also because it's a method to keep the IT-infrastructure congruently from the user's side. In our company we make use of Office 2003. We were able to obtain the required Office 2003 licences only via usedSoft.

Of course, we have carefully checked the lawfulness in advance: We cannot afford to have any weak points in the licence area - similar to most other companies. On the one hand, due to the notarial certificate it is secured that we are the one and only and, as a consequence, lawful user of the licence. And, on the other hand, I am convinced that a company like usedSoft - especially in the context of the, to some extent, massive resistance of the developers - would not have been able to stand its ground on the market for years, if the company's business model had not had a 100 % lawful basis.“
