Lebensmittel Zeitung: License to save costs
The giant Microsoft foams at the success of used software suppliers like usedSoft. "Nevertheless, the trade with used software is a history of continued growing, according to the leading trade magazine "Lebensmittel Zeitung". usedSoft already counts more than 2000 customers, including many well-known companies, such as for example Edeka or Douglas. All attempts of the software giant Microsoft to stop this new market have failed. "It would be the same, if BMW attempted to forbid the sale of used cars", explains shareholder Andreas Bremke during an interview. "In Germany, we are recycling things like made, so why not recycling software licenses as well. From an economic point of view, any other handling would be nonsense".
