MS Exchange Server 2003. Clients Access License (CAL)

For a sensible implementation of the MS Exchange Server 2003, in the standard as well as the Enterprise edition, companies require additional individual workplace licenses to be able to use the functions i.e. administered data provided by the server at an individual workplace.

Microsoft® has intended the use of a so-called User Client Access License (CAL) for that purpose, which can be acquired in packages as from 5 licenses. The OPEN-License program has been produced accordingly for the purchasers of the segments of economy, administration and education.
