Autodesk Autocad 2004
With the legendary AutoCAD, the company Autodesk has launched a vector-based originally two-dimensional, today highly developed 3D-drawing and construction program. It currently works only on Windows platforms and has proprietary file formats .dwg. and .dwf. which meanwhile have become industrial standard.
AutoCAD is mainly intended for engineers, architects, designers and other construction-oriented professions.
The development of the program can meanwhile look back on a 25-year history during which plenty of versions, i.e. updates were put on record. Among the special branch-oriented versions the AutoCAD Architectural Desktop for architects and AutoCAD Mechanical (2D-applications) as well as Inventor (sophisticated 3D-program) for mechanical engineering have to be emphasized.
AutoCAD 2004 (R16.0) has been launched in March 2003 and has been integrated into the license offer of usedSoft with a frequent demand.
